1. Jesmond Dene Park

Jesmond Dene Park is one of my favorite spots in Newcastle for outdoor yoga. This green space offers various picturesque settings for practice.

When I’m there, I find a quiet spot near the Ouseburn River. The sound of the water and the rustling leaves create a peaceful atmosphere.

As I lay my mat down, I often see squirrels and a variety of birds.

The Blackbutt Nature Reserve is nearby, adding to the feeling of being immersed in nature. Practicing yoga here helps me connect with the natural world and find inner calm.

Water Bottle

Hydration is crucial during outdoor yoga, especially in warm weather.

Bring along a reusable water bottle to keep you refreshed and hydrated.

It’s a good idea to make sure your water bottle is insulated, as this will help keep your water cool during your session.

Additionally, an insulated water bottle can help reduce condensation, which means your bottle won’t slip from your hands or leave a puddle near your mat.
