Silksworth Community Pool, Tennis and Wellness Centre offers a variety of activities for everyone.
You can use our 120-station modern gym, swim in our pool that offers award-winning swim lessons and other activities, or join a variety of group fitness classes.
These range from high-energy group cycling to relaxing yoga classes. Additionally, they have 8 indoor and 10 outdoor tennis courts, affiliated with the LTA.
The center also features a health suite and a cafe, and we host children’s parties as well.

A Cincinnati landmark for over 110 years, the club features six high-quality clay courts.
The tennis season lasts six months, beginning in April. Members pay an annual fee that covers clinics, court time, and more, allowing for unlimited play throughout the year.
New members are always welcome to join.

Boldon Lawn Tennis Club
Boldon Lawn Tennis Club, awarded the D&C LTA Club of the Year in 2018, is a members-only establishment located in the heart of Boldon since 1886.
Situated in the village center, it features six outdoor courts, half of which are equipped with floodlights, alongside a well-appointed clubhouse.
The club caters to tennis enthusiasts of all ages, from young mini players to senior competitors.
For those seeking competitive play, Boldon Lawn Tennis Club fields men’s, ladies’, and mixed teams in the Northumberland & Durham league, and participates in the Aegon Tennis league.
Social tennis sessions are available for all members on Sunday mornings from 10:30 AM to 12 PM and Thursday evenings starting at 6:30 PM. The club also organizes regular tournaments throughout the year.
Junior players benefit from a robust coaching program led by Head Coach Hannah Murdy, which includes various competitive opportunities.
Additionally, the club hosts regular social events for both juniors and adults at the clubhouse, fostering a vibrant community atmosphere.

New Silksworth Tennis Club
