The ‘Safer in Sport’ section of the website provides useful information, advice and resources in relation to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk in sport and physical activity.
We work very closely with the NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) and Ann Craft Trust to continuously review and improve our safeguarding policies and practices, and to support and encourage our partners to improve theirs too.
Respecting young people
The Child Protection in Sport Unit (CPSU) has produced two videos that highlight the importance of respecting young people in sport, which are great for parents, coaches and sports providers.
Guidance for Staying Safe in Sport
Whether you’re a coach, organisation, parent or young person, everyone should be able to take part in sport and keep physically active, and feel safe while doing so.
TWS Policy and Documentation
It is vitally important that all organisations involved in the delivery of sport and physical activity have an active child protection policy. Download our Child Protection Policy and read the guidance about how to share sensitive information.
If you have any concerns about the safety or welfare of a child, young person or adult at risk, find out who to contact.
