British Fencing have teamed up with Premier Sport to communicate the many benefits of fencing, to get more children active during and after school hours. The new partnership plan to provide at least 1,000 new schools an opportunity to try fencing, as well as help raise awareness and increase participation.
The organisations are delivering introductory fencing experiences to primary schools nationwide through taster sessions. If you are interested in signing up for a taster session or starting an introductory fencing course at your school, then all you need to do is complete the online interest form.
British Fencing have also launched a new and innovative coaching framework that explains the process of a fencing coach, which provides guidance for anyone seeking to take up coaching. The coaching framework document can be found here.
If you're interested in going on to a coaching course then you can find upcoming courses here on the British Fencing website.
