Competition Managers
The purpose of the competition managers' role is to
1. develop a competition structure for young people implemented locally with opportunities for all
2. increase school to club links
3. increase the number of young people engaged in performance pathways irrespective of ability, disability or ethnicity.
As a team, the competition managers work across the whole of Tyne & Wear, focusing greatly on inter-school competition. They are working towards achieving the national 50% target by 2011, ensuring that half of all children in formal education are engaged in inter-school competition and also focusing on bringing high quality to the agenda.
