Water Skiing

The different forms of water skiing are: Barefoot, Tournament, Wakeboard, Cable 3 Event, Disabled, Kneeboard and Racing.

In 2004, two blind men set water-skiing world records on Windermere. Gerald Price, 71, water-skied behind a speedboat which was driven by Mark Threadgold, 36. Mr Price set a record for blind water-skiing by travelling at 46.2mph and they were the first blind team to take a boat and water-ski to that speed.
