Thinking About Becoming a Coach But Don't Know How?

If you are aged 20 years or over, have an interest or involvement in community sport and you are interested in developing your skills and qualifications in sports coaching, then you will be interested in Recruit into Coaching

Tyne & Wear Sport has been allocated resources to recruit and support a minimum of 92 people into coaching within the first year of the programme. Each individual accepted onto the programme will receive an induction which will include a one-to-one Training Needs Analysis. Depending on their needs the scheme is able to support each individual financially up to £250 and look to support and mentor these aspiring coaches into community settings.

It is hoped the programme will encourage people from deprived areas to be active and personally involved in their communities, as well as developing more adult role models within school and community sport.
