North Tyneside Council wins award
North Tyneside Council were the winners of the prestigious Northumberland Lawn Tennis Association, Local Authority of the Year Award 2007.
The award recognised the council’s contribution to the promotion of tennis to all sections of the community, and the successful partnership work undertaken with North Tyneside Tennis, which is a body set up to manage the delivery of tennis throughout the borough, on behalf of all tennis deliverers.
