LTA Chief Executive opens new sports facilities
Roger Draper the chief executive of the Lawn Tennis Association was in Washington, Tyne & Wear to officially open the new sports facilities at Biddick School Sports College, Friday 26 January.
The new facilities include a sports hall, a state of the art fully equipped gym, changing rooms and also offices for the school’s PE staff.
Roger Draper (pictured with head teacher Richard Wilkinson) said: "It’s great to see investment being put into excellent sports facilities for children. Sporting stars can come from anywhere, so why not Biddick School Sports College?"
