Free Swimming Announcement - further information

Following the government's announcement that it intends to fund councils to provide free swimming for some groups, as a first step towards an aspiration to provide free swimming for everyone by 2012, the Local Government Association has issued some further information.
Attached is a letter from the LGA outlining its response to the announcment and an outline of the government's current policy.
