Priory Primary Progress to Rugby League Play-off

Priory Primary School Year 6 won the North Tyneside Schools Rugby League Festival held at Whitehouse Primary last Thursday.
They emerged triumphant from the pool for the feeder primary schools for Marden High School. This win was thanks to some excellent play on a bitterly cold afternoon, when being out in the open was difficult enough, let alone playing rugby league in it. For the John Spence Feeder family primary schools, Preston Grange Year 6 emerged the winners from their pool.
The two schools are now due to meet each other in the North Tyneside Winners’ Festival, on Thursday 17 June 2010, also at Whitehouse Primary. The winners of that festival represent North Tyneside in the Tyne & Wear Rugby League Winners Festival next July.
