FA Launch Disability Coaching Programme

Northumberland FA are offering young people with disabilities in Tyne & Wear and Northumberland four weeks of free football coaching.

The 3 Lions Football Coaching programme is aimed at pupils in school years 6 to 11, whether that be in mainstream education or specialist schools. The sessions will be delivered by FA trained coaches and will focus on skill challenges and small sided matches. At the end of the initiative all schools involved will be invited to a festival, scheduled to take place in March 2010, to allow them to showcase what they have learned.
