Regional Diving Development Coach

Contract: Three years, fixed term contract

Salary: Grade SO1 £23,749 - £25,320

Hours: 37 hours per week

It’s an exciting time for the North East region, as the new Sunderland Aquatic Centre opens to the public in April 2008. The facility has an essential role in increasing community participation in aquatics and in developing clear performance pathways for the region in swimming and diving.

In partnership with the regional ASA and Sport England, this is an opportunity to develop regional participation and performance structures for diving.

As Diving Development Coach, you will support regional diving providers, clubs and directly provide development coaching to specific age groups and support high performance coaches in the delivery of coaching to elite squads. You will also assist to deliver a schools based Talent Identification Programme and provide access routes to the sport for recreational divers of all levels.
