Invitation to Tender for Provision of IT Support

We are currently inviting proposals from suitably qualified individuals or organisations for the maintenance and upkeep of the current IT system in place at the TWS offices.

The deadline for submission of tenders is Friday 31 March 2017.

Question 1: On the invitation to tender you are requesting that the IT incumbent is able to support your existing Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, Anti-Spam and Anti-Malware solutions. Can you please give detail on which products the organisation uses?

If you can give some detail on your backup solution, that would also be appreciated.

Answer 1: We currently use ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 (version 4.2. 76.0).

Our backup solution consists of the server's own backup solution. We also utilise portable Seagate Backup Plus desktop hard drives, SRD0SD0

Question 2: Is it intended for the contract to include hardware maintenance of the server and desktop/laptop/networking equipment?

Answer 2: The contract is to include labour costs for the repair and maintenance of the server, but not the parts and not the other listed hardware.
