EFDS 'Count Me In' Campaign
Thanks to all who have already registered for the 'Count Me In' campaign, but would those who haven't please consider registering on line to show your support for disabled children, young people and adults to have equal access to sport, fitness facilities and recreational activity.
Launched by Sports Minister Richard Caborn, and backed by the Disability Rights Commission, so far in the campaign over 4,500 supporters have signed up, including Sports Minister Richard Caborn and Chair UK Sport Sue Campbell. Big sporting names like Ade Adepitan, Sir Trevor Brooking, Duncan Goodhew, Colin Jackson, Stephen Miller, Dame Kelly Holmes, and Tessa Sanderson are backing the drive to develop sport and physical activity for disabled people. EFDS have also got organisations such as Nationwide, npower and the BBC on their side.
But EFDS need your help too. It takes people power to make a real difference and to give them a bigger voice. EFDS want to have Counted In 10,000 people by March 2007, and what they really need now is YOUR support. By adding your name to our list and counting yourself in, you give EFDS the clout they need to help channel more resources into disability sport.
Sign up and be counted in right now: visit www.efds.co.uk.
This is your opportunity to give disabled people a sporting chance. Can we count on you to make a difference? Registration takes just 30 seconds and your support would be greatly appreciated. Please encourage your colleagues to register too. Thanks again for your support.
