Job Title: Assistant Director - Information & Communications
I am responsible for working with partners and stakeholders to improve the promotion of sport and physical activity and raise awareness of the partnership both within the sporting community and to the general public. Additionally, my job entails the collection, analysis and reporting of information, and developing and implementing mechanisms to improve performance measurement.
This is my first role in sport. Prior to Tyne & Wear Sport, I had worked in communications for the NHS, Anchor Trust and Pubmaster Limited. However, I have been interested in sport from an early age, taking part in a wide range of activities including, martial arts, skiing, squash, volleyball and fitness training.
I am very pleased to now be employed in a job that combines two things that give me a lot of satisfaction: sport and communications.
